Data base of the ALA (for members only)
The Association des Levasseur d'Amérique inc. has a database of
about 120,000 registrants. Vincent Levasseur, the founder and
genealogist of our Association, developed this unique resource after
countless hours of work over the past 18 years. The database is
maintained thanks to the efforts of Joceline Levasseur and Gilles
Carmel.
To have access to this valuable resource, you must be a
member of the Levasseur Association of America and have an E-mail
address. Your membership contribution is $20.00 per year (for an online
member). Members will also receive the
"Levasseur Newsletter" and are invited to annual meeting and others
acivities.

Upon
receipt of your payment, a user name and password will be sent to you
electronically. Please, ensure it is kept in a safe place and is easily
accessible since you will need it every time you want to access the
database. The Webmaster will notify you by E-mail twice a year when the
password is changed (for security reasons). Upon acknowledging receipt
of the new password, the database will be activated.
The new
database program being very user-friendly, there is no need to respond
to queries regarding its operation. All the information needed to use
the database can be found in the the author's web site. For additional information on this program, contact the author's web site.
