Biographies
During the 17th century, persons with the Levasseur name left France, their native land, to establish themselves in New-France. Jean, Pierre and Laurent came and were the first to settle in the new country. Other Levasseurs came and worked at their profession for a period of time but returned to their country of origin.
During the 19th and 20th century, persons with the Levasseur name distinguished themselves and left their mark within their profession or at the political level. Others chose to be pioneers in various regions of Québec, Canada and the United States
